Art
For many of us stuck at home, art provided a much-needed respite and outlet from the pandemic. Paul James' poetic photo-journal and Alexis Jade Ferguson's incendiary collages, reflecting her anger at the systemic injustices in the US that were exposed and exacerbated by the pandemic, were artistic responses to the pandemic. Others, like Hasini Shyamsundar, who collated the work of artists she followed on social media, showcase the role played by art and artists in the pandemic.
